Roosevelt Dime
Auction and Coin Market Price guideThe Roosevelt dime was created to honor President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's work with the March of Dimes shortly after his death in 1946. It was designed by Chief Engraver John R. Sinnock due to his previous work with creating a medal of President Roosevelt. The creation of the coin was set to coincide with what would have been the President's 64th birthday as well as a March of Dimes fundraiser. The torch, olive branch and oak branch on the back of the coin represent liberty, peace and victory.
